Henry L. Myers Obituary

Deacon Henry L. Myers, son of the late Isaiah and Evelina Myers, was born on October 27, 1935, in Strawberry, South Carolina. Henry began working as a butcher for a store in Charleston, SC between the ages of 16 and 17. He left South Carolina at a very young age and began traveling the world. Henry relocated to Trenton, New Jersey in 1965. He worked at Mideastern Aluminum for 12 years until they relocated. He then began working as a truck driver at Allied Moving Company for over 35 years until his retirement.

Henry was ordained to be a deacon by his sister, Pastor Hazel M. Morgan, at Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple in Robbinsville, NJ in 2006. He was a former member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church where he was a member of the Senior Chorus & Gospel Choir and the Male Chorus.

Henry was a dedicated San Francisco 49ers Fan. During football season you better believe he was tuned in to watch his favorite team. Nascar was his other favorite pastime.
