With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Henry accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Deborah Heart and Lung facility in Browns Mills, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. affectionately known as "Pee Wee",

Henry Lee Thomas was born to Minnie Thomas Austell, and the late Herbert Lee Austell on September 4th, 1973 in Trenton, NJ, "Pee Wee" as he was affectionately named was long time Trenton resident. He was educated in the Trenton public school system. Henry furthered his education while attending Richard Stockton College. He worked at Saker Shoprite for over 15 years until his untimely departure.

He was a die-hard Washington Commanders/Redskins football fan and love to watch karate movies and loved playing his favorite video games with his son Isiah Thomas. In his spare time, he loved hanging out and shooting the breeze with his closest friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Lee Austell; his grandmother Elenora Thomas; grandfather James Austell.

Henry's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his mother Minnie Thomas-Austell; his wife Bertha Sykes; his daughter Quantia Thomas; his son Isiah Thomas; his grandson Rylan Simmons; his sister Nycol Thomas; his brothers Timothy Thomas, Herbert Thomas and Kevin Cole; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special childhood friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
