Holton Gibson

Holton Clarence Gibson, born May 26, 1940 in Easton, Maryland to Clarence and Edna Gibson. 

He was educated at Robert Moton High School in Easton. Holton served in the United States Army from ·1963-1965. He was employed and retired from General Motors for thirty-four years. 

Holton was a member of, the American Legion Post #0077 of Easton and the Tren­ton Van Club, he attended, Boy Scouts of America Incarnation Church in Ewing, and a member of Chapel Methodist Church in Easton. 

In his leisure time, Holton enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and barbecuing. He was also a model train enthusiast. 

He was preceded in death by is parents Clarence and Edna Gibson; his sisters Vir­ginia Layton and Jessica Carter; his brothers Henry Gibson, Claude Gibson and Glenwood Gibson Sr.; a granddaughter Angel Lewis; son-in-law Gregory Lewis Sr. 

Holton's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his loving wife of 55 years, Anna Gibson of Ewing, NJ; his sisters June Harrison of Waldorf, MD and Laverne Johnson of New Castle, DE; his sons Holton John Gibson (Rebecca) of Oxford, NJ and Philip Brian Gibson of North Carolina; daughters Kathleen Lewis of Ewing, NJ, Angelina Gibson of Atlanta, GA and Maureen Villa (Bobby) of Ewing, NJ; seven grandchildren Gregory Jr., Mia-Lan, Christopher, Karena, Kayla, Francesca and Bobby Jr.; one great grandchild Elliott; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, May 7, 2021 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618.   Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service.  Interment will be at Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
