Jahsere J. Reeves

Jahsere Joshua Reeves, affectionately known as "Winkabear," passed away at the age of 6 surrounded by his loving family members.  Jahsere was born in Trenton, NJ on December 1, 2018 to his parents.

Joshua Reeves and Myeshia Prather-Reeves. Jahsere was the beloved grandson of the late Donald Reeves and Anna Reeves, Patty Baylor, Carla Cooke, and Donald Prather.  Jahsere was predeceased by his great grandparents Victor R.  Feole, John H. and Mary E. Gilbert,  and  Gloria  Cooke;  his aunt Jameca Frazier.

Jahsere attended the Benjamin C. Gregory Elementary School in Trenton. He loved to learn and had recently won Student of the Month in March 2025. In his free time, Jahsere loved to play outside, watch his favorite TV shows Motown Magic and Blippi, and play his favorite video games Subway Suffer and Call of Duty. Jahsere was an advid reader and singer. He also enjoyed playing drums and keybord.

He leaves to cherish him, his parents Joshua and Myeshia; his grandparents, Anna, Patty, Carla, Donald, Rose Daniels; his siblings Tajiney Reeves, DaeJanay Wescott, and Jyia Reeves; his aunts and uncles, Cory English (Laila), Jason Reeves, Joesph Reeves  (Santa),  Mary-Elizabeth  Jones  (Scott), Estelle Reeves, LaBlon Reeves, Lawanda Coleman (Ralph), Christina Sanchez (Jasmine), Leslie Lopez (Derrick), Shavonne Cooke, Shakena Ellis (Dione), Daysha Prather; a host of cousins, friends of family, and more.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Change Church, 200 Ludlow Dr., Ewing NJ 08638.  Calling hour will be 10am until time of service. Interment will be private.
