Jaime D. Pickett Obituary

Jamie Pickett, departed this world peacefully on June 9, 2025 at the age of 35.She was a cherished daughter, mother, sister, auntie, cousin, niece and friend, whose love, compassion, laughter, and kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Jamie Pickett was born on June Al, 1990 in Bristol, PA. to the late Gloria Streeter Pickett and late James Pickett. She was raised in Bristol and resided in Trenton, where she cultivated deep-rooted values of family, friendship, and service to others, she attended Harry S Truman were she graduated in 2009 and pursued a career in customer service, where she was known for her dedication, intelligence, and unwavering work ethic.

As a mother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend she was the heart and soul of her family, always providing guidance, support, laughter and an endless supply of love. Her daughter Makenzi who she cherished and loved, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends were the pride and joy of her life, and she instilled in them the values of compassion, perseverance, and kindness. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of service and love.

Jamie is survived by her daughter Makenzi Burris her siblings Sanorris Pickett, Joanus Streeter and Tanya Brvant. A host of nieces and nephews as well as her favorite niece/sister Ebony Streeter. Her-best-friend of 25 years Taj Mitchell and a host of cousins including her 1 cousin Talia Baxter and many friends who became family, who will carry her memory in thetr hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria Streeter, father James Pickett, grandparents Joseph Bryant and Erika Bryant and special family and friends whom she joins in eternal rest

Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She may be gone from our sight, but her love and the lessons she imparted will remain with us always. May she rest in eternal peace. 

 

Funeral service will be 10am Monday, June 30, 2025 at Community Baptist Church, 225 Radcliffe St., Bristol, PA 19007. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Bristol Cemetery, Croydon, PA.
