James A. Walker, Sr. Obituary

James A. Walker, Sr., 90 of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Capital Health, location, NJ. 

James was a graduate of Hightstown High School. He worked at the IBM Distribution Center. James served in the United States Army PFC E-3. He was an active member of The Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. 

Predeceased by his wife, Katherine Louise Walker, William ·walker (father), Elsie Howard (mother), Johnnie Walker (Jessie) (brother and sister-in-law), Helen Douglas (Sterling) (sister and brother-in-law), Elsie "Mazie" Walker (sister) and William "Billy" Walker (brother). 

Survived by Kim Walker (daughter), James A. Walker (son), Mona Remy (daughter), Jacques Remy (son-in-law), Evelyn Randolph (sister-in-law), Patricia Hammond (siser-in-law). His grandchildren: Maurice Walker, Chanelle Walker, James A. Walker III, Felicia Walker, Andre Remy. His great grandchildren: Symfani Walker, Anthony Walker, Jayla Walker, Jade Walker, Jordyn Walker and Kyrie Walker. His great great grandchild: Kane Sawyer; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

 

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Rev. William L. Powell Dr., Hightstown, NJ, 08520. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ.
