James E. Frost Obituary

James Everette Frost, lovingly known as Jimmy, was born and raised in Wilmington North Carolina on May 15,1946. Jimmy finished his course as a loving husband, brother, father, friend, and loyal servant of Jehovah on Friday, November 03, 2023.

Jimmy attended Williston Senior High School. He worked for Conair for 15 years. Jimmy was caring and thoughtful to all; he often played protector to his little sister, Barbara Gail. He also shared a special relationship with his older brother, Earl. Later, Jimmy settled in Trenton, NJ where he fathered his only child, Sherrill Bisha Frost, who is dear to his heart. Shortly after he met the love of his life, his best friend, wife Patsy of 46 years.

Jimmy dedicated his life to Jehovah and symbolized it by water immersion on January 8, 1978. Brother Frost was a man of great integrity and loved Jehovah; he was known for his many return visits where he discussed with others about God's Kingdom as mankind's only solution.

Know matter what situation he was faced with, his top priority was making sure he and Patsy attended their meetings and field service. He was very supportive to the pioneers and all the publishers in his congregation. Jimmy enjoyed reading the Bible; Isaiah Chapter 48 verses 17 and 18 were his favorite passages. Jimmy served as an ministerial servant, and then an Elder in the Greenwood Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Son of the late Lewis and Maggie Frost and brother of the late Elijah Frost (Mary). Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife, Patsy Frost; his precious daughters Sherrill Bisha Frost; three brothers Lawrence Frost; Lewis Frost (Pearl); Earl Frost; two sisters Mary Thomas; Barbara Gail; two brothers in law Daniel Robert Williams (Veronica) and Karl Berry (Roberta); three sisters in law Karla Berry; Jacqueline Berry; and Angela Berry Roberson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, adoptive grandchildren and friends. Special friends Jose Ortiz, Reginald Williams, and one special buddy Annette Smith.

Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him as well as by many he unknowingly touched just by being the loving and caring person that he was.
