Jamir L. McNeil

On Sunday, May 1, 2022, Jamir Lamar McNeil, passed away at the age of 25 years old in Trenton, NJ. Jamir McNeil was born in Ozone Park, Queens, New York on October 23, 1996. Jamir was the 1st born of four children. Jamir moved to Trenton, NJ at an early age. He attended Mercer High School, where he graduated in 2015. Jamir was an entrepreneur who was building his first Landscaping Business. He also was employed at Snelling Staffing. Jamir was a devoted and loving son, brother, cousin, father, boyfriend and friend to many who loved him. Jamir always placed family above everything. In his spare time, Jamir enjoyed playing video games, watching football, and playing basketball. ​

 ​Jamir was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lorraine Ann McNeil, his grandfather James Orange, great-grandparents, Maggie McNeil, Willie McNeil and step-grandfather Henry Cole, Thomas King, Samir Ali (uncles), and Ikeara McNeil (cousin).​

 ​He leaves to cherish his mother Tiffani McNeil (Rashawn Fox), and Trumaine Glanton (stepfather) all of Trenton, NJ, Pedro Newton (father), Tasha Henry (wife) and Marjorie Newton (grandmother) all of Brooklyn, NYC, his one and only son Karter McNeil and Amanda Tagliaferro (soul mate) all of Bayonne, NJ, siblings Trunajah Glanton, Trumaine Glanton Jr, and Jamirah Glanton all of Trenton, NJ, Chase Newton, and Carson Newton all of Brooklyn, NYC, Hynefah McNeil (aunt) of Trenton, NJ, Delia Newton, and Dina Newton (aunts) of Brooklyn, NYC, Carolyn Muhammad (great aunt), Maggie McNeil (great aunt), Niesha Edler (god-mother), and Starasia Edler (god-sister) all of Trenton, NJ, special cousins Maurice McNeil, Dyvae Bethea, Sincere McNeil, Sean Davis and Theodore McNeil, best friends Montell Gilbert and Evilio Orellana all of Trenton, NJ and a host of family and friend.
