When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
After fifty-three years of making us laugh, bringing us joy and sharing her love, our beloved "Jackie" received her angelic wings on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Capital Health Hospital. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Jacqueline Denice Gibson, born January 18, 1969 in Southern Pines, North Carolina to Mildred Gibson. She with her family relocated to New Jersey and Jackie remained a Trenton resident for the past fifty years.
She was educated in the Trenton public school system, where she attended Trenton Central High School. She was employed at Royal Health Gate. Jackie was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for more than twenty-five years. Jackie was a well known and devoted Home Health Aide who always volunteered her services with helping the elderly.
Jackie attended the Greater Praise Church in Hamilton. In her leisure time, she loved designing hair styles and she enjoyed going to church. Jackie will be remembered for being a loving and devoted person who adored her family and close friends. Jacqueline's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her children three children Iceem B. Gibson, Amirah Gibson and Cyn'Tara of Trenton, NJ; her mother Mildred Gibson; stepfather Lewis Mapp; four siblings Mack Gibson Sf. of Ewing, NJ, Pamela Wessels of Bensalem, PA, Lennetta Gibson and Ulysess Gibson of Ewing. NJ; her one daughter-in-law Kelly Olivero; two sisters-in-law Veronica Gibson of Ewing, NJ and Tiana Gibson of Ewing, NJ; two special friends Leroy McCoy and Lee Ramsey of Trenton, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, stepsisters, brothers, cousins and friends.
We thought of you with love today but that is nothing new,We thought about you yesterday and days before that too
We think of you in silence we often speak your name,
All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake with which well never part.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
