Jeffrey Rock Jr.

When someone you Jove becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. 

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Jeff accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his home in Tren­ton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright put we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 

Jeffrey E. Rock was born in Trenton, New Jersey on November 25, 1966 to Emanuel Rock Sr. and Gertrude Rock. He remained a lifelong resident of Trenton, New Jersey. 

He was educated in the Trenton public school system. Jeffrey was employed for five years at Coca-Cola and Pears Tavern where he was a manager. 

He was preceded in death by his father. Emanuel Rock Sr.: his mother Gertrude Rock; his sister Bernadette Edwards. 

In his Ieisure time, Jeffrey enjoyed cooking and grilling. As a youth he liked sports, and he participated in football and baseball. 

Jeffrey's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his children Jef­frey E. Rock Jr., Jocelyn S. Rock and Javon T. Rock; his sisters Sharon Rock, Carol Kennedy, Vondalyn Rock and Cynthia & Darryl Leach; his companion Althea Rob­inson; his stepchildren Shakeena Robinson, Maurice Robinson and Dymirrah Robin­son; his step grandchildren Ky'mir Scott and Gecivany Hunt; a host of nieces, neph­ews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
