Jennifer Marie Hebert, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and partner, passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2025, at the age of 66:
Born in Austin, Texas on October 31, 1959, Jennifer was the cherished daughter of the late Annie Mae Hebert and Orzie Hebert 8r. She was raised and spent most of her life in Trenton, New Jersey, where her bold spirit, loud laugh, and presence that filled a room.
A proud graduate of Trenton Central High School, Jennifer went on to dedicate over 20 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide for Mercer County. Her compassion and work ethic made her not only a trusted caregiver, but a blessing to every family she served.
Jennifer's heart overflowed with love for children, especially her own, her grandchildren, and those throughout her neighborhood. She found joy in traveling, family gatherings, and spending time with loved ones. Her warmth made every space feel like home, and her favorite saying, "See, the key for me is..." became her signature phrase that brought smiles to everyone who heard it.
She shared a beautiful life and over twenty years of companionship with her devoted partner, Mr. Robert "Pete" Jones, together creating memories full of laughter, love, and adventure.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae and Orzie Hebert Sr., and her beloved brothers James, Frank, and Carl.
Jennifer is survived by her two loving daughters, Tamica and Ebony Hebert; her adored grandchildren Clinton, Jaylin, Rahmir, Tyion, Emari, Kaleb "Noodles"; her cherished great-grandchildren Christian, Amir, and Kinsley and her sisters Beverly Ann Hebert, Frances Dee Knox (Fred), and Janice Ash. She is also survived by her brothers Milton, Winnie (Hilda), Orzie, Roger (Kim), Marvin (Linda), Raymond, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
Jennifer will be remembered for her strength, compassion, humor- and deer love of family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her especially her daughters and grandchildren, who will continue to carry her light forward.
Her life was a living example of grace and resilience. Though our hearts ache, we find peace knowing she rests safely in the arms of the Lord.
Funeral service will be 12pm Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
