Surrounded by the love and prayers of his family, Jerome Anthony Harvey entered eternal rest on February 22, 2026. Born on March 1, 1971, A lifelong resident of Trenton, New Jersey, Jerome was a proud alumni of TCHS aka “The High”. Jerome was a self-taught artist and jack of all trades. In the mid 80s and 90s, he was a major presence in Trenton’s HipHop Culture. Lovingly called Anthony or Tony, his love for hip-hop, and acrobatical dance style earned him a spot as a member of the legendary Boxx Boys and Kings of Hypeness. Though in later years he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, or catching up with friends, “Fro” will always be remembered for all the competitions, talent shows, and dance floors he tore up.
Preceded in death are his parents, Diane Williams and Jerome Harvey (Hamzah Abdul Hakim Mohammad). His maternal grandparents David Williams, Dorthy May Townes, and paternal grandparents William Harvey Sr. and Virginia Harvey Miller. Uncles and Aunts: Frank Townes, Paul Williams, Glen Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Charles Harvey Sr. and Richard Harvey, and Sadie Jones. All from Trenton, New Jersey.
His life and loving memories will forever be cherished by his children, Jerome Bland, Ashley Leysath, and Shaquane Gibbs. Grandchildren, Caleb Williams, Samiyah Bland, Ariel and Dior Gibbs. Siblings, Yolanda Harvey, Lewis Harvey (Julie), and Chelsea Williams of Cold Springs, Texas. Nieces and nephews: Khiry, Keon, Lewis (Jermiah), Noah, Kiyanna, Amanda, and Yasmin. Sister in love: Lynia McCloud. And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Though gone from the physical, we find comfort in knowing his smile lives on through his children, his spirit through all that loved him and his legacy of creativity will not be forgotten.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
