Jesse Averhart, Sr.

Jesse James Averhart was born March 5, 1953.

He was educated in the Trenton public school system He also went to Mercer County Paralegal Technician where he received his diploma.

Jesse was employed as a correctional officer. Until his retirement he was employed as a paralegal technician for the State of New Jersey.

In his leisure time, Jesse loved to play his red bass guitar, go fishing and rep cars.

Jesse is survived by his wife Patricia; his five children Celeste, Jesse Kimberly; two brothers Herbert and Anthony; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and .

He was predeceased by both parents Herbert and Katherine Averhart. 

Funeral service will 1pm Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
