Jessie L. Thomas

Jessie Thomas, age 36. passed away on Feb. 7. 2026 at Capital Health Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

He was born in Trenton, NJ, to John and Monica Thomas.

Jessie embodied the true essence of fatherhood, love. and resilience. His goofy spirit, energetic personality. and nurturing nature were a source of comfort and strength to all who knew him. He was active in sports in school, found joy in music. working with his hand and spending time with family. Hardworking, spontaneous. and deeply family oriented. Jessie had a thoughtful heart and a sense of humor that could brighten any room.

As we gather to honor his memory, we are reminded of the enduring impact of his love and the lasting legacy he leaves behind. He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: Elijah, Jessiona. Jessie Lee. and Jessiana: his loving parents: John Thomas (Denise) and Monica Thomas: ten siblings: Melissa. John Jr. Jessica. Justin. Mark Woleslagle. My'Shaya Thomas. Mariah Nicolas and Dre. Isiah. and Devon Thomas. He leaves behind a loving grandmother. Malvin Allen. Special friends who helped shape his life: Wilner Nicolas. Frank Cooper. and Dexter Green. In addition. Jessie is remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A memorial service celebrating Jessie's life will be held on Thursday. Feb. 26. at 12:00 PM (viewing) and service at I PM. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in honoring his memory. The Repast will immediately follow the service.

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
