Joel Alexander Obituary

Joel Nathaniel Alexander blessed the earth on April II, 1977.His parents are Pauline and Peter Williams and Trevor Alexander of Trinidad and Tobago. He migrated to Trenton, New Jersey at the age of sixteen.

He attended Trenton Central High School and the Captain of the boys’ soccer team. He also worked for several establishments, among them were Medi Transport his most likable occupation. There he transported sick and elderly patients to and from the hospital.

Joel was multi-talented. Some of his other interests was catering. He had a contractual agreement to prepare dinners for the homeless during the holidays during Thanksgiving and Christmas. He actually catered for about 60-80 persons per event He was a gifted handyman. His skills knew no boundaries. He had the abilities to repair almost anything, appliances, furniture, fixtures, including home remodeling.

Last but not least he had a passion for video games, he spent numerous hours at night in the comfort of his home just relaxing and playing until dawn.

Joel was taken from us way too soon, but his vibrant, funny, charismatic, and loving energy will live on forever in our hearts.

 He was predeceased by his grandparents Toussaint and Elaine Augustine and Joyce Alexander; his brother Kerry Alexander; an Uncle Anthony Nerius; an aunt Ermine Alexander.

Joel's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his parents Peter and Pauline Williams; his two daughters Shakida and Joelyn Alexander; a granddaughter Keilani Andrews; his Siblings Bahani and Samuel Alexander of Trinidad and Tobago, Crystal Augustine and Allyssa and Jeannella Williams; his nieces and nephews Syre RigginsAugustine, Kalani Augustine, Samuel Jr., Christian and Sophie Alexander; his aunts and uncles Rufina Boiselle-Williams, Cyril and Helen Augustine-Clarke, Cherilyn Augustine, Wilbert Dowing and Wayne Alexander, Valencia Wilkerson, Sephanle Knights,Bryelle Walker, Matison and Mathew West (Children of Valencia): his fiancé Gina Anderson; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 12-2pm Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618.  Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
