John Hill Jr. Obituary

John L. Hills Jr.,65, of Bristol Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord on October 10th 2020. He was born November 24th 1954 to Elizabeth Jackson-Butler and Master Mack Davis of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, daughter Aquilla M. Hills, nephew Timothy Hills Jr., brothers Ronald Brown and Scott Phillips. John leaves behind his wife Gayle of 37 years, his children Shawna, Eliza, Aquan and Amy Hills, and his grandchildren Anissa and Judah . He will always be lovingly remembered by his sisters Delphane Wilson, Patrice Davis, Louise Davis, Jo-Ann Davis, Nicole Ball, and Iris Stovall and his brothers Timothy Hills, Michael Davis, and brother in law Leon Taylor, sister in law Cynthia Rice and many nieces and nephews whom he loved like his very own children. With respects to his namesake John L. Hills Sr, we would like to mention sister Wanda Wheeler, Deborah Singleton, Shirley Owens, Hyler Garrison, and Alonzo Powell and also a host of friends and students. John attended Del Haas High School and later continued his education at Delaware Valley School of Trade. If you asked him what he did for a living, he would tell you “Well, I’m a plumber, electrician, mechanic, and carpenter by trade.” John walked with our Father God while he walked this earth, always giving blessings, prayers, love, words of encouragement and touching the hearts of every person he met. He did not know a stranger. His heart was always filled with enormous amounts of love and joy pouring into everything he did. He loved fellowshipping and helping people no matter the cost. Coach Hills had a love of wrestling, coaching on and off the mat. John had a handyman business after he retired with his wife, taking on the name of Mr. & Mrs. Fix It. He had clients all over the eastern part of the United States. He had a contagious laugh and an extraordinary personality that will be remembered by all. Even in death he continued to give, being an organ donor and providing a better life for someone in need. John was the man who would literally give you the shirt off of his back. Always willing to lend a helping hand. As he would say “I’m blessed to be a blessing!” The family of the late John Hills acknowledge with profound appreciation the many acts of love, sympathy, and kindness shown during their time of bereavement.
