John L Davis Jr., 66. of Feasterville, PA, passed away on February 26. 2026. He was born on December 14. 1959, in Newark, NJ. to Lovin; Williams and John Davis Sr.
John dedicated his life to protecting, caring for, and lending a helping hand to others. A true servant at heart, his professional journey was marked by his time in the U.S, Army, where he achieved recognition as an expert marksman, After serving his country, John continued to protect and serve his community as a police officer for the state of New Jersey, He later transitioned into the role of an EMT, once again demonstrating his commitment to helping others.
A humble and gentle soul, John was highly regarded and respected by those who knew him. His love for animals was evident, particularly in his enjoyment of training exotic birds, including his latest avian companion, Max. He loved playing video games with his grandchildren, a testament to his youthful spirit. An avid collector of weapons. John maintained his superior marksman technique, a hobby that reminded him of his time in service.
John is preceded in death by his father, John Davis Sr. and his stepsons, Eddie and Miguel. He is survived by his mother, Loving Williams, his son, John III, and his daughter, Monique. He also leaves behind his siblings, Carlos and Celeste, his beloved grandchildren, Eliiah, Samara. Samuel, and Abigail as well as several nieces and nephews.
John's life was defined by service, humility, and a gentle spirit. His ability to touch lives, both through his professional work and personal interactions, will continue to be remembered and revered. We honor his life and legacy and will hold dear the memories that he has left behind.
Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at St. John's Baptist Church, 70 Oregon Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638 . Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
