John Henry Ricks III was born in Trenton, New Jersey on February 05, 1973 and passed on to his everlasting life on September 01, 2020, at the age of 47.
He was educated in the Trenton Public Schools and graduated from Trenton High School. He continued his education at CTO "A" School, Academy of Professional Development and Internetwork Learning Institute. John grew up in Trenton, NJ and later on moved to Ewing and Sicklerville, NJ with his wife and kids.
John worked as an Office Manager at ETC and served in the U.S. Navy as a CTOSN from 1992 - 1996.
He grew up in Friendship Baptist Church and always loved the Lord. John enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the solitude and peace in his own little world with his wife and 4 children. When he wasn't spending time with his family, or checking in on his parents, or dropping a word of wisdom, he would spend his leisure time appreciating the beautiful life of nature that his Heavenly Father created. In his free time, he would play his X -box with his buddies from all over the country and was a big Oakland Raiders football and New York Knicks basketball fan. John was very creative in many ways, especially in music. He would make his own songs, whether rapping or singing. Out of all these things, his passion was serving God by having a family of his own with a strong foundation of faith in the Most High God.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents Leola and John Henry Ricks Sf. of Swainsboro, GA; Rodia and Samuel Cooper of Fruitland Park, FI. John leaves to cherish precious and loving memories, his wife Tianne Nicole Ricks, sons Tyjon, John IV and Christopher and daughter Daisha, parents Doris and John Ricks of Trenton, NJ, a sister Rosalind Ricks-Koger of Delran, NJ, three brothers, Lorenzo (Melody) Ricks of Delanco NJ, Reginald Ricks of Trenton NJ, Ira Ricks of Trenton NJ and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
