Joseph Ahr Obituary

Joseph Ahr son of the late Mary and Arthur Ahr Sr was born on January 27, 1956 in Trenton, NJ.  He was educated in Trenton Public School and graduated from Trenton Central High School.    He was employed by Amtrak in New York City, NY for over 20 years.  Joseph (aka) as Ugg Mugg by his children and Mookie or Itzy by his friends.  died at the age of 64 on July 24, 2020 in Trenton, New Jersey. 

 

Left to cherish the memories of his life are his loving children, D’Nea Hall and Joseph M. Ahr Sr.; four grandchildren,  adopted children, Samara, Angela, and Margaret Tiggett ; two special grandchildren,  Jah”Zyiah Hall (Affectionately known as “Momma Momma”), Joseph, Monta, and Nayomi Ahr, three siblings, Charlie Ahr (Debra), Arthur Ahr Jr (Carol), and Sharon Parson.  

 

Joseph also leaves behind ten step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.  Special friends; Ellen, Gladys, and Marshall Hall, Johnny and Daryl Andrews, “Ms. Patt”, Maria Pineda, Giovanni Rodriquez, Carlos Sanchez, and Dayshawn Lane. 

 

Joseph was truly a family man.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed cooking out, fishing with his brother Charlie, doodling and watching sports and boxing with “Momma Momma”.  Some of his favorite teams were Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Flyers, and Baltimore Orioles.  Joseph also enjoyed listening to oldies on the porch and vacationing in Wildwood.  Joseph truly loved his family and friends and often greeted them with a hug and kissed.  He smiled often and enjoyed making others happy.
