With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved "Joey" accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Joseph Lynwood Bazemore was born in Trenton, New Jersey on Thursday, March 3, 1955 to Dolores A. Bazemore-Watson and Joseph L. Bazemore. He remained a lifelong Trenton resident.
He was educated in the Trenton public school system. After high school Joey entered the United States Army. He was employed by Waste Management in Melbourne, Florida.
In his leisure time, Joseph enjoyed watching and playing basketball. He also loved watching football, he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was predeceased by his mother Dolores A. Bazemore-Watson; his father Joseph L. Bazemore; his nephew Terron Bazemore.
Joseph's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his daughter Lashekia Quarles; his grandson Kamari Walker; three grandda4ghters Maliyah Quarles, Jaaziah Quarles and Dasire Fanning; his sisters Adrienne Bazemore, Valerie Holder, and Yvette Bazemore; his brothers Lance White, Anthony Bazemore and Shawn Bazemore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
