Joyce M. Beach

Our beloved, Joyce Kidd left us on January 30th, 2026, from The Capital Regional Medical Center, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 18, 1946, in Trenton, NJ. She lived her life helping family and friends with my father. She and my father always had our home open to someone in need.

She spent her time loving and living her life with her (late) husband, James Kidd Sr. She attended Trenton High School in her early years.

She was a homemaker, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a grandma to so many. She spent her days enjoying life and looking to better those around her, with her smile and words of encouragement.

She enjoyed being around the family during our get-togethers. Mom liked playing cards and listening to music, with the family. She loved her family and always enjoyed the time she got to spend with them.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, James Kidd Sr, her son, Benjamin Sr., and grandson Benjamin Jr.

She is survived by her Brother-in-Law, Johnny; Sisters-in-Law Lucy and Bernice; Sons: Stewart (wife-Mattie), Jimmy Jr. (Jay) (wife-Roshelle), Terrence (wife-Gidget) daughter in law, Erica grandson Terrence (Natalie Joanem); granddaughters Blair, Patricia, Ashley, Lele, Taylor, and Sydney; and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way.

 Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
