Juanita's vibrant, magnetic personality sparked conversations wherever she went. Her bold spirit and infectious laughter illuminated every room she entered. Her mornings were filled with conversations over coffee at the Lawrenceville McDonald's and lunch at Popeye's, a cherished routine. She had a flair for fashion, with a penchant for finding quality treasures through thrift shopping, Columbus Marker, and at her favorite store, Ross, where her love for leopard-print pieces and handbags shone through. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was a habitual reader, and she shared an exclusive book club with her baby girl, Nikki.
Juanita's care and love extended to her grandchildren, nurturing them as if they were her own. Her famous fried chicken and sour cream and onion dip were eagerly anticipated at school functions, which was just one example of her action-filled love. She had an incredible gift for making sach grandchild feel like her favorite leaving a life-lasting mark on their hearts.
Juanita's legacy of love, shaped alongside her late husband Clarence W. Austin, lives on through their children: Linda Hudson of NJ. Elder Lisa Austin of NJ and Nicole "Nikki Austin of NJ. Michael Austin of NY. Roice Thomas of NJ. Two brothers-in-laws, Earl Austin, and, sister-in-laws: Grace Hawk, Betty Jennings (Perry). Vivian Austin, Willie Mae Austin, and Barbara Clark. Her 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
As we remember Juanita L Austin's remarkable life, we also honor the cherished memories of those who walked alongside her. Predeceased by her beloved husband Clarence W. Austin, son Terrance Austin, Baby Boy Austin, her mother Juanita C. McNeil, father Willie Hudson, and beloved brother Boyce Clark, St. Their legacies are intertwined with hers in the hearts of her family and friends.
Special acknowledgement of her cherished friends. Ms. Holmes, Mrs. Womack. Mrs. Mirelle Gant-Lanier. and Ms. Wands Dexter stands as a testament to the love she generously shared.
Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Juanita's memory to St. Jude's Hospital, as she was an avid donator.

Funeral service will be 10am Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be 11am Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
