Kelly Jackson, born on April 8, 1960, to the late Andrew and Bobbie Jean Jackson. He passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025.
Kelly was educated in the Jersey City school district and graduated from William Dickerson High School. Beyond his remarkable career of 18 years at Certified Steel. Kelly was a beacon of warmth and joy in his personal life He was a deeply loving husband, a steadfast brother, and a cherished father and grandfather, always ready with a comforting word, a helping hand, or an infectious laugh that brightened any room. He loved music and was the infamous DJ Kelly Kell. He also loved to cook, he loved his San Francisco 49ers and he loved to draw, a trait that was passed onto his son, Shaquan and his granddaughter Savvai. Most importantly, Kelly loved the Lord, he was baptized on November 23, 2025.
He taught us the invaluable lesson of listening with our hearts and striving to leave the world a little brighter. Though his physical presence is deeply missed, Kelly's inspiring spirit and contributions will forever resonate in the lives he touched.
Kelly was predeceased in death by his parents, Andrew and Bobbie Jean Jackson, his brother, Ramon Jackson.
Kelly leaves to cherish with special memories his beautiful wife of 20 years, Vanessa Jackson, his daughter, Monique Cox; his sons, Jamill Davis and Shaquan Butler, his bonus daughters, Keane' Clemons-Thomas (Louis), Nykia Phelps and (Precious), brother in love, Riley J. bonus son, Riley Clemons. His brothers, Percy Jaekson (Diane) Bernard Jackson Marley Clemgon, Jaxon Gibson, Clemons, Louonni Thomas, Makalia Clemon 8; Eight grandchildren, Jah'Lil Clemson, Savaai Clemson Mia Clemons, and Bruce Edge and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries, 611 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
