Kenith L. Pierce

Kenith Lee Pierce (63), departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

Kenith Lee Pierce, son of the late Samuel Kenith Pierce and Catherine Pierce was born on November 30, 1957 in Trenton, NJ. A life-long Trenton, New Jersey resident he was a graduate of Hamilton High School West Class of 1975.

Throughout his life, he was employed by the De Lorenzo Waste Management Company, The Trentonian and various landscaping companies located in Trenton. He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Colleen Angela Johnson-Pierce in 1982. Kenith was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboys fan who watched every game and cheered whether they won or lost. Kenith was a devoted, loving, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was loved by everyone that knew him. Kenith will be surely missed by family and friends.

Predeceased by his former wife Colleen Angela Johnson-Pierce; he leaves to mourn his passing and cherish loving memories, two daughters Kenette L. Johnson of Hamilton, NJ and Karin Johnson of Greensboro, NC, six grandchildren, Christian Maneiro, Nialani Morales, and Gabriel Reyes of Hamilton, NJ, Michael Johnson, Michaela Johnson and Makai Yon of Greensboro, NC, two great grandchildren, Hope Johnson and Terrance Whack Jr. of Greensboro, NC, long time companion Leslie Franklin of Trenton, NJ, special cousin, Keith Hill of Trenton, NJ, lifelong friends Bernard and Diane Davis of Burlington, NJ, Jesse Robinson of Trenton, NJ, Glenn Phillips of Hamilton, NJ, Willie Hobbs of Trenton, NJ, John Freeman of Perth Amboy, NJ and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, September 16, 2021 at New Holy Cross, 500 East State Street, Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
