Kenneth Glover Sr.

Kenneth Glover, Sr., was born on August 2, 1955 to the late Deacon and Deaconess Solomon and Dorothy Glover. He transitioned to Eternity on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Kenny attended Hamilton High School West and graduated in 1974. He then attended The Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf where he met some of his lifelong friends. He enjoyed playing soccer, basketball and gymnastics in his early childhood and teen years.

He became employed by the NJ Department of Labor and Industry and later relocated to a Department within the NJ State Police for over 25 years.

Kenny loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends watching the Dallas Cowboys, Professional Wrestling and his favorite television show was "Friends".

He was married (divorced) to the late, Tayrn L. Thomas. He was predeceased by their daughter, Dezetta D. Glover.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Kenneth Glover, Jr., Terrence Glover, Avery Glover, and Quinuana Kennebrew; his sisters, Talaya Thomas and Vanessa Glover; a special cousin, Winifred Glover; two aunts: Lillian Jackson of Tampa, Florida and Hattie Anfield of Yardley, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren: Khamijah, Kaia, Kendall, Kirsten, Kenneth III, Daniel, Terrence Jr., Teighan, Nova Reign, Jaden, Nicholas, Olivia, Angel and Elijah; one great grandson, Kaylen; his niece, Tamara Thomas; a great niece, Ariyon Thomas; a Godson, Todd Wilson; a Godsister, Brenda Cusack; and a host of family and friends including his special friends: Harold Fowler, Jerry Washington, Ricky Phillips, Jonathan Marsh, and Sylvester Kay.

Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
