Kevin B. Mackins

LIFE STORY

Kevin Mackins (Banana) was born April 10, 1966, in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Robert Bradley, Jr. (Kuda) and Sharian Mackins. He departed his life to be with the Lord on January 20, 2023, at Capital Health.

Kevin was as a long time Trenton resident of Wilbur Section. He graduated from Trenton Central High School in June 1984, attended Mercer County Community College, and earn his degree in Business Management. He loved to watch football, but his favorite team was the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed watching them play with family and friends. Kevin also did some odd and end jobs when he had down time such as cutting grass, detailing cars, and always lending a hand to family and friends.

Kevin loved to laugh and have fun; he kept everyone around him laughing with his humor.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his son Chevin Burgess, his grandparents Carrie B. Taylor, Lillian and Robert Bradley, Sr., and Uncle Keith Bradley.

Kevin's memory will be celebrated and cherished his two children Antwan Burgess, Sr., and Aneisha Burgess; three grandchildren Cayden Burgess, Antwan Burgess, Jr., and Marlee Burgess; two sisters Tashel Mackins(Prentice) Colvin, and Talaya Bradley; two brothers Tarik Mackins and Brandon Jones; 4 special nieces Shakira Mackins, Mizani Colvin, Ajai Mackins; Tamia Mackins and 3 nephew's Ja'Den Colvin, Emory Jones and James Ruffin, Jr., great niece Au'bree McQueen and great nephew Kamari Hill. 3 favorite cousins; Alicia Dodson, Kenneth Dodson and Jabri Bradley; 1 special Aunt Patricia White and a host of family and friends.
 

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
