Kim McRae

                         Obituary

Kim Rochelle McRae was born on June 24, 1956, in Trenton, NJ. She was the third child of four children. Born to Florence Elizabeth Jones and Herbert McRae Sr., two brothers Herbert (Peanut) McRae, Jr. and Christopher Jones. All preceded in death.

Kim was a lifetime resident of Trenton, New Jersey. She graduated from Trenton Central High School and attended, Mercer County Community College. Kim was employee at Trenton Water Works for many years, then furthered her career to Administrator at Vital Statics for the State of New Jersey.

Kim was a member of Grace Cathedral Church, Trenton, NJ. She was a God-fearing woman and true believer who worshiped the Lord in Spirit and in truth. She was a very colorful person that enjoyed playing Bid Whistle, Spades, Dominoes and having fun with family, close friends, and associates, as well as an avid pool player. Kim had the hugest heart that a person could ever have. She was kind, caring and generous to family, friends and anyone that she came in contact with. She volunteered her time to those in need at Trenton. Community Shelters however, charity started at home.

Kim will be missed but never forgotten. She leaves behind to mourn her loss: two daughters Lenora Mims and Temyria McRae-Barfield, four grandchildren; Mercedes Davis, Marcai Morris, Daquise McRae-Payne, Lyannah McRae, one great grand-daughter Kaliyah Rogers-Hicks, one sister Rhonda McLauren, a niece Katrice Griffin (Simmi Griffin), great nephew Aaron Scott a host of nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and close special friend's.

If you knew Kim, please know that you had a special place in her heart, a nick name and was considered family.

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries Church, 1217 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Jr. Way, Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
