Krystle D. Tomlin Obituary

Krystle Danielle Tomlin was born on October 30, 1984, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She departed this life on March 22, 2026.

We remember Krystle with love and deep affection = a woman whose vibrant spirit and joyful nature touched every.one she met. She was truly happy-go-lucky, embracing life with a radiant smile and a heart full of warmth.

She was known for her kindness and willingness to help others, always ready to lend a hand or offer support without hesitation. Her generous spirit made a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Krystle graduated from Penn State University: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Northeastern State University: Master of science in Leadership (Health Management). Rutgers University: Lean Six Sigma Green & Black Belt Certificates & Achievements, accomplishment that reflected her dedication and determination.

Krystle interest in golf began when she joined The Greater Trenton Junior Golf, giving her the opportunity to play Golf for Mercer County Future Champion Tournaments, and being the first black female to play on an all boys high school golf team in Mercer County, NJ at McCorristin Catholic HS, a remarkable achievement that spoke to her courage, talent, and trailblazing spirit.

Krystle also had a passion for Tennis. She was a NUTL member, played on the McCorristin Catholic HS Girls Tennis Team. She also played with PTP/USTA UR and was Runner-Up for Girls in the 18's on August 3-5, 2002 Tournament.

Krystle began her dancing at an early age with Carol Hayes Dance Studio in Jersey City, NJ, later to Watson & Johnson Dance Studio, Ewing, NJ and studied dance with The Philadelphia School of Drama.

Among the awards Krystle have received as a contestant in Miss NJ PreTeen Pageant, in 1995 Krystle won the Prestigious State Award for Academic Achievement competing against 49 other contestants qualifying her as a National Finalist in the State Volunteer Service/Community Service Contest. She have also won several awards at the Mercer County Science State Fair that was held at Rider University.

Krystle had a deep love for travel and found great joy in exploring new places, creating meaningful memories along the way. She enjoyed dining at nice restaurants, appreciating both the experience and the company she shared those moments with. She found happiness in reading and dancing, (GAA and Drama Club, A Cheerleader, on theband (played the trumpet), in High School). Krystle especially loved swimming, skating and Broadway theater, embracing the arts with enthusiasm and joy.

January 2013, Krystle became a Member of Change Church Ewing, NJ Serving on the Media Ministry and assisting her Mom every 3rd Sunday on the Holy Huddle/Hospitality Committee.

Above all, Krystle cherished spending quality time with her mother. Their bond was deeply meaningful to her, and those moments together were among her most treasured.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Ms. Harriette Tomlin; Aunts & Uncles Carl & Margie Peters-Trenton, NJ, Willena Tomlin-Covington, GA, Willis & Jewel Tomlin-Loganville, GA, Maggie Tomlin-Bronx, NY), Sylvester Tomlin-Florence, SC, Don Mcknight-Florence, SC and Dennis Tomlin who departed on March 14, 2025 leaving behind a host of relatives and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Her laughter, her light, and her caring nature will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, the joy and love she brought into the lives of others will remain forever. Krystle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by a host of family and friends.

 

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
