Obituary

Lauren Michelle Law, age 68, departed this life at Advent Health in Winter Park Florida on Sunday,July 19, 2020 with her loving children at her side. 

Born November 6, 1951 in Trenton, NJ to the late Fred Scott Sr. and Mamie Scott- Ruffin. Lauren was raised in Trenton NJ and spent most of her adult life in Mount Holly. 

She was educated in the Trenton public school system and graduated from Trenton Central High School. She continued her education at Mercer county vocational school where she then 
began her career as a licensed practical nurse. She later earned her Bachelors in Nursing from Burlington county college. She retired after 25 years of service from the department of health 
and senior services as a state health facilities surveyor, 

Prior to retiring to South Carolina, Lauren was a member of South Side Baptist Church where she served as the chairperson of the girls in action program. Lauren was the New Jersey 
representative on the state executive committee. of the Pennsylvania New Jersey Southern Baptist Convention. She was also the director of women on missions and vacation bible school while at Southside. While serving faithfully at Southside, the Lord called her to serve on several missions in Africa, Indonesia and China. She continued her missionary work at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston South Carolina. Lauren was involved in serving in Sunday School, and was a breast cancer advocate for the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation at Antioch Baptist church in Oviedo, Florida. Lauren loved the Lord and was always eager to share the gospel and spread his love with everyone she encountered. 

Left to cherish the memories of her well lived life are her loving children, Kyle S Law of Oviedo, FL and Mitchell Scott Law Of Sanford, FL ; 3 Grandchildren, Jocelyn Law of Brooklyn, NY, Idalyz Chernes and Mitchell Scott Law, Jr. of Sanford, FL; 2 Sisters, Victoria Taylor of Concord, NC and Patricia Hall of Willingboro, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
