Lawrence K. Dickerson

Lawrence Kendall Dickerson, lovingly known as "L," of Trenton, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 64. He will be remembered for his presence, his strength, and the love he carried for his family and those closest to him.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his sister, Photina Fuller. He was born to Lawrence (Dorthy) Williams and Alice Fuller, who remain a lasting part of his legacy and foundation.

He leaves behind a devoted and loving family who will continue to honor his legacy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Dickerson; his sons, Michael and Mikal Bush, Keyon Leonard, Breon Hamilton, Edgar Riley; and his daughters, Jakrah Scott and Takirah Leonard. Lawrence was also a proud grandfather to Michael and Mikal Bush, Muneerah, Mizzani, Kam'Ryn, Ayveeon Joseph, Kacey Leonard, Akai and Ameri Risher, each of whom brought joy and meaning to his life. He is further survived by his siblings Wiley (Terra), Seantae Fuller, Tracy Williams, and Sara Williams; his sisters-in-law, Darlene "Cookie" Jackson and Pamela Miller; his brothers-in-law, Maurice Same Leonard and King Musa. L was also dearly loved by his Aunts Marlyn Nixon, Sandra Dickerson and uncles Rodney Dickerson (Mary) and Gregory Dickerson. He shared special bonds with dear friends Reginald Brundage and Irvin "Jitter" Jackson, and special cousin David.

Williams, and special aunt Gloria Blake. He also leaves to cherish his memory his goddaughter, Jamilla Wilson, a special niece and nephew Brittany Stevenson and Samee, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss him. "L' will be remembered for the impact he made on those around him, the memories he created, and the love he shared throughout his life. Although "L" may no longer be with us, his impact, love and presence will forever live on in our hearts.

Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
