Lee'Vance Crossland, affectionately known as Vance by family and Lee by friends, and Dad by his son Davon, his pride and Joy, 58 of Trenton New Jersey passed away on
Sunday January 9th, 2022 at home with his love one's by his side.
LeeVance was on born on October 17th, 1963, in Trenton New Jersey to the late Joan Mckinnis and LeeVance Crossland Sr. Lee 'Vance's his late grandmother Azalea, who
he called mommy was very inspirational in his upbringing. He loved and cherished her, and she raised him as a son of her own, until she went on to be with the Lord.
Vance resided in Trenton NJ most his life. He received his early and middle school education at Our Lady of Devine Shephard and high school education at Trenton Central
High School. LeeVance worked in carpentry and roofing constructio!l for many years, until his injury and he would later spend the majority of his time with family.
Lee'Vance loved and cherished his son Davon, his pride and joy, and his aunty Thelma Steel, who he also called mommy! and who was also always there for Vance, and who
he resided with after the passing of his mommy AzaJea. NC? matter where Vance was, he would make sure mommy was ai!·ight. Vance 'Visited ma y churches throughout
the course his life, and he knew the word and that God resided within him. Vance would always speak of the Goodness' of the Lord, and-how he 'loved and trusted Jesus, and no man.
LeeVance's greatest attributes were his love of God, his son Davon and his family, especially mommy. Lee'Vancc was a handsome man and had the most beautiful smile.
Everyone who knew Lec'Vancc, knew he could light up a room with his smile right after he talked junk and then smiled and asked you if you still loved him.
LeeVance loved the Green Bay Packers, and he enjoyed laughing, debating, good food, and just having a good time with his family, younger cousins and older cousins, who were more like siblings. He and his nieces and nephews snared a bond that could never be broken, not even by death, for in eternal life, he will see his loved ones who has gone on to Glory, and what a reunion there will be!
LeeVance was predeceased by his Mother Joan Mckinnis, Father Lee 'Vance Crossland Sr I Boot, Grandmother/mommy Azalea, Uncle Herbert, Aunt Maggie, bonus brother
David Herbert Steel and Harlem Lamont Steel and many loved ones.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his son Davon Coley who inherited his beautiful smile and is the carbon copy of his dad, his bonus mommy Thelma Steel, aunts Mary Tyler and Annie Wheeler, bonus siblings on both sides his family- Diane Allen, Carrie Steel-Fennell, Carol Tucker, John and Lori Smith and Lisa Billups, Derrick Keaton, Renee Steel, Peggy Parks, and Regina Steel, Pete and Sheila Campbell, Joyce Sabree. He will also be remembered by many other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
