Lemuel H. McMillon

Lemuel H. McMillon departed this earth on November 9, 2023, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Lemuel was born on August 24, 1938, to the late Jepthah and Geneva McMillan in Orrum, NC. He attended Proctorville Elementary School in NC. He later moved to Trenton, NJ, where he remained a longtime resident and attended Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School.

After high school, Lemuel enlisted in the United States Airforce. Once he completed his service, he began working for Mercer County Correctional Facility and retired as a Sergeant. He was affectionately known as Sgt. Mac.

Lemuel was a true Philadelphia Eagles fan. In his younger years he played flag football.

In addition to his parents, Lemuel was predeceased by his brothers: Travis, Conrad, Jay, Winford and Terry McMillan; and a daughter, Wanda Brown.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories three daughters: Sharon Tootle (Darnell), Leslie McMillon (Brandi), and Quiana McMillon (Jovan) all of Trenton, NJ; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Eugene McMillan of Flint, MI; a sister, Ava Gwen Campbell of Trenton, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
