Lieutenant Finney was born April 24,2022 in Trenton NJ to his predeceased parents Lieutenant Finney, Sr and Willer Bell Jenkins, in Trenton, New Jersey.
After the passing of his parents in his childhood years he was given over to the care of his grandmother Earthea Jenkins who loved and provided for him.
He was an active supportive member of the Church of Christ in Trenton NJ over 3 decades, who loved to serve and be supportive to his family, church family, friend and outsiders.
In the community Lieutenant attended Trenton Central High School. He worked over 27 years for the Roebling Steel Mill as a foreman and for the Local 369 Union for over 20 years doing construction work as a foreman until his retirement. He also did volunteer work with the City of Trenton Weed and Seed Program that was establish to prevent, control, and reduce violent crime, drug abuse activity in high crime neighborhood.
Lieutenant will always be loved, greatly missed and remember by his family Margaret Finney (Wife), Lisa Adams (daughter)& Eric Adams (son-In-law), Carl Finney (son), Mark Finney (son), Gloria Harvin (daughter) and William Harvin (son-In-law); Eric Henderson, Tameka Henderson, Matthew Henderson, Derrick Henderson, Dayvon Finney (grandchildren); Nasir Bridgeforth, Shanasha Henderson, Aysianae Henderson, Daamir . Henderson and Derrick Henderson, Jr., Noah Henderson, Eric Henderson Jr., Amirah Henderson, Caylah Henderson, Catelin Henderson (great grandchildren) and a host of aunts, nieces, nephew, cousin and friends.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Church of Christ, 411 North Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
