Lindsey Page Jr. Obituary

Lindsey has earned his angel's wings. He answered the call on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Burlington, New Jersey and took his final flight home to be with the Lord. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the Heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 
 
Lindsey W. Page Jr. was born in Trenton, New Jersey on November 28, 1951 to Jane E. Gaines Page. 
 
He was educated at Our Lady of Divine Shepherd and he graduated from Trenton Central High School class of 1969. After high school he entered the military, where he served in the Army Reserve. He retired after twenty-five years of service. Lindsey was employed at New Jersey Department of Corrections, where he retired as a Senior Corrections Officer. . 
 
Boxing was truly Lindsey's passion in life. He was a member of the IBF Boxing Or­ganization and the New Jersey Boxing Commission. He was a Professional Boxing 
Referee and Judge and was inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame. Lindsey was also a member of the Cavaliers Drill Team. 
 
He was preceded in death by his mother Jane E. Gaines Page. 
 
Lindsey's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his wife Sonya Page; his children Cory Washington, Jamar Page, Lindsey W. Page HI, Kiona (Doug) Cooper, Tomika Rowell and Lindsay Johnson; his father Lindsey W. Page Sr.; his sis­ters Joyce Neilson and June Husband; his sisters-in-law Beth Pickett and Bridget King; an aunt Delores Phox; his mother-in-law Dorothy Chandler; his close friends Poppy Sanderson, Charles Woodson, Michael Pierce and Sammy Goss; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 
 
Lindsey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Services will be 9-11am Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ
