Lisa Downes

Lisa A. Downes departed this life on November 26th, 2024. She was the oldest of 5 children. She was born July 9th, 1963 to Victoria Downes and Melvin Leonard. 

She worked for the state of NJ for 20 years and was a member of the First Baptist church of Pennington. She graduated from Ewing High and went on to complete 2 years of trade school. She was a die hard Raiders fan, Lakers fan, and Dogers fan. She loved to do scratch offs, and go to the casino, and was active in bowling for a number of years. She enjoyed watching the cooking channel to learn new recipes and spending time with family. She also loved music and dancing.

Pre decreased in death by son Devon L. Green, father Melvin Leonard, step father Gordon Cribb JR., grandmothers, Ella Downes and Ella Mae Cribb-Williams. Grandfather Gordon Cribb Sr., Uncle Timmy Downes. 

Survivors mother Victoria Cribb. Sisters, Theresa Cribb, Linda C. Williams, Karen Cribb. Brother, Brian Cribb (Cathy). Half sisters, Colette James, Rosey Leonard, Vanessa Leonard-Suggs. Nieces, Tenesha Cribb, Brianna Hogg (Nick), Yasmine Cribb, Lydia Williams. Nephews, Terell Cribb, Brandon Cribb, Quincy Cameron. Great Nephews Kyren Cribb, Bryson Hogg. Aunts, Janice Jackson (Ronald), Tina Gaston, Mary Leonard. Uncles, Bruce Downes, and Willy Cribb. And a host of cousins and friends including Stephanie Keniebrew, and Sandra Turner, and God daughter Darranie Brinson.

 Funeral service will be 11am Monday, December 9, 2024 at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries, 611 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
