THE OBITUARY OF LLOYD 

Lloyd Harrison Banks, 88 returned to his heavenly home on October 1st,2022. His devotion to his family and firm belief in God supported him in his last days and ultimately gave him peace. 

Lloyd was born to the late Gertrude Sweeney and Orville Banks on April 19,1934 at Princeton Medical Center. He was immersed in the Christian Community as a lifelong member of Trinity 
Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Princeton High School and went on to work as a mailroom Supervisor at Princeton University. Lloyd was also a Past Exalted Ruler of Witherspoon Lodge #178 and was a member of Aaron Lodge #9 F&AM PHA. 

As a man of faith and service to others, he was devoted to his wife of 48 years, Barbara. He was a man of strong integrity and was steadfast in his commitment to his wife, and the family that grew from their love. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, love of sports (especially the Dodgers) and of course the NJ lottery. 

Lloyd is predeceased in death by his Mother Gertrude Sweeney and Father Orville Banks. Sister Athena Tadlock. Twin Brother Boyd Banks and Brothers Howard Sweeney and Carl Banks. 
Children Jeffrey Bullock, Gregory Bullock and Toni Guzman. Granddaughter Barrie Bullock. 

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Barbara Parago- Banks. Daughter Lynn Hightower. Sister-in-Law Faith Coy. Grandchildren Tifinee Hendricks-Logan (Paul). Stacy Livingston. Nicole Jackson (Emanuel), Ashley Hightower and Shawn Crews. Great-Grandchildren, Amirah Jackson, Emanuel Jackson jr., Eliza Hendricks, Destiny Jones, Dionna Jones, Taylor Dickerson and Chyna Dowell. Special Nieces, Crystal Brown and Kelly and Shira Banks. Special Nephew, Cameron Sweeney. A special family friend Preston Evers and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. 

Funeral service will be 10am Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey, 08540. Calling hour will be 5-7pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
