Louis Mims, Sr.

Our Louis Mims Sr. accepted his angels invitation into God's Kingdom on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at Merwick Rehabilitation in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
Louis Mims was born in Trenton, New Jersey on Tuesday, July 11, 1967 in Trenton to and John Griffin.

He was educated in the Trenton public school system. Louis was previously employed at Wishbone Chicken, College of New Jersey and Nelson Det Agency.

Louis enjoyed cooking, sports, spades, being with family and friends and making everyone laugh. His humor was contagious. He attended church at Lighthouse Minis- try in Ewing, New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his parents lvory Mims and John Griffin Sr.; his brothers Joseph Griffin, John Griffin; his sister Shirley Gbengbe.

Louis' memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his son Louis Mims Jr.; his sisters Thelma Griffin, Ivory Griffin and Sherry Williams; his brothers Keith Adams and Lamont Adams; the mother of his child Ira Brown; his best friend Patricia Brown-Briggs; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Louis' memories will forever live through-all whom shared his life, he'll truly be missed!

Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
