Loveed Woodson

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure 
You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure. 

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Stephen accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Capital Health Regional Center at Fuld Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 

Stephen Brian Tribbett was born in Camden, New Jersey October 17, 1959 to Helena Tribbett. He resided in Trenton, New Jersey most of his life. 

He was educated in the Camden public schools. Stephen attended high school at Woodrow Wilson. He was self employed as a laborer. 

"Weed" as he was affectionately named, lived life to the fullest. He loved watching football and he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His passion was sneakers, he loved collecting sneakers. Stephen enjoyed spending quality time with his family and close friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Helena Tribbett; his sisters Barbara, Patricia Tribbett and Donna Green; his brother Tyrone Tribbett. 

Stephen's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his daughter Bri­elle Dunkins; his brothers Norman and Kevin Tribbett; sisters Bonnie and Kimberly Tribbett; his niece Michelle Tribbett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

When you come to the end of the road and the sun has set on me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. 

Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me-but let me go. 

For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. 

When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know. 
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me-but let me go. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, February 3, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
