Lucille E. Hendricks

It was Sunday, June 8, 2025 when Lucy, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, was chosen to leave this earthly life for a heavenly one.

Lucille E. Hendricks was born October 31, 1951, in Lawrence Township, New Jersey to Thomas Alton Hendricks and Edith Atlay Hendricks. She remained a lifelong resident of Lawrence.

Lucille was educated in the Lawrence public school system, and she graduated from Lawrence High School. She furthered her education while attending and graduating from Wilfred Academy Beauty School and worked as a barber/beautician for years. She was also employed by the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury Division of Revenue where she retired in June 2024.

In her leisure time, Lucille enjoyed drawing, sewing, cooking and styling hair. One of her passions was drawing portrait pictures. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lucille was a member of Change Church.

She was predeceased by her father Thomas Alton Hendricks; her mother Edith Atlay Hendricks; two brothers Harold Hendricks and Tweed Hendricks.

Lucille's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her daughter Tifinee Hendricks-Logan; her son-in-law Paul Logan; her three grandchildren Eliza Hendricks, Dion Jones and her special youngest granddaughter Destiny Jones; one great grandchild Celeste Loran; one sister Dolline Hendricks; two brothers Thomas (Pam) Hendricks and Rex (Olivia) Hendricks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
