Luis Zenquis was a lifelong resident of Trenton, New Jersey. He attended Trenton Public Schools, served in the United States Army, and in the National Guard. He worked as a Printer for the State of New Jersey and Trenton Printing.
Luis was a devoted husband who loved his family and was his youngest daughter's bestfriend
He enjoyed karate, boxing, swimming, and listening to music.
Luis is predeceased by his father, Manuel Zenquis- Diaz, his mother, Juana Diaz-Ortiz, and his brother, Pedro J. Zenquis.
He is survived by his wife, Aracelis Rivera; son, Jeremy Zenquis; daughters Sharon Zenquis-Rosa, Nicole Beckett, and Francheska Zenquis-Hunt: stepson, Richard Velez, brothers Manuel, Juan Antonio, Jorge (Georgie), Angelo (Angel), and Jesus, sisters Josephine, Ramona, Carmen, Juanita, Victoria (Vicky) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3pm Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 2pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
