Lula B. Carter Liverman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on November 13, 1934, in Trenton, New Jersey, Lula spent her life inspiring those around her with her grace, strength, and unwavering faith.
The daughter of the late John and Lula Belle Myers, Lula was raised in a loving home alongside her siblings. She was educated in the Trenton Public School System and later pursued her passion for beauty and style, graduating from Cosmetology School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A skilled and creative beautician, she became a successful business owner and spent decades making others feel beautiful not just through her artistry, but through her kindness, encouragement₁ and generosity. Lula made her clients feel beautiful, confident, and seen.
Lula was truly beautiful inside and out. She was known for her big heart, gentle spirit, and deep sense of compassion. A devout Christian, she lived her life with purpose e and faith, always uplifting her family, friends, and community. She was ambitious, passionate; and full of life the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone she met1
Lula's legacy of kindness, faith, and strength lives on in her family and in the many lives she touched. She will be remembered for her gener6sity₁ her unwavering belief in the goodness of others, and her ability to bring light and comfort wherever she went. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She is survived by her loving children: Joahne Carter, Roosevelt Carter, and Kecia Ward; her cherished grandchildren: Star Carter, Thomas Johnson, Jeston Carter, Tyquan Carter, Keenan Ward, and Jayda Ward; and her dear siblings: Carter Myers and Peggy Harris.
She was preceded in death. by her beloved husband Aubrey Kent Liverman; her cherished son, Terrance Carter; and by her siblings: John Myers, Erasmus Ray Myers, Preston Myers, Rev. Horace Myers, Fred Myers, and Patty Myers Griffith.
As she transitions to eternal rest, we are comforted by scripture: “Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?"

Funeral sevice will be 11am Tuesday, September 23, 2025 Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Hwy, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Calling hour will be 10am until time of service. Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
