Mardean Lavina Epps, 93, of Ewing, NJ peacefully passed away with loved ones by her side on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Capital Health in Pennington, NJ.
Mardean was born in Talcott, West Virginia on June 19,1927 to Frank and Lavina Campbell. She attended schools in Hinton, West Virginia and graduated from Lincoln High School. Mardean was employed as a charwoman for various families in the Princeton New Jersey area, and retired after years of service. She attended the First Baptist Church of Princeton before her health started to decline.
Mardean lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; traveling to Atlantic City, going on cruises, partying with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lavina Campbell; her husband Solmen Epps; sons, Michael and Timothy Epps Sr; and three brothers & two sisters. Mardean’s memory will forever be cherish by her loving sister Ethel Breeden; her grandchildren A’Kisha Epps Lyals & Derrick, Carla Epps Colón & Albertito, Timothy Epps Jr, Courtney Benning, James Muse; her great grandchildren Tyree, Kaia, Albertito Jr, De’Shane, Carlito, Chyna; best friend, Anne King and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be 12pm-2pm (viewing at 12pm) Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave, Trenton, NJ. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ
