Margaret Comora-Powell

"Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord
from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, far their deeds will follow
them" (Rev. 14:13).

"Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and
He who sits on the throne will shelter them with His presence. 'Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,' nor any scorching heat. For
the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; 'He will lead them to springs of
living water.' 'And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes'" (Rev.715-17).

Margaret Comora Powell was born November 2, 1938 in Bayonne, New Jersey to parents Rev.
Dr. Albert James Tibbs Sr. and Marjorie Gould Tibbs. Cornora's husband for more than a half a
century is Fred Powell; affectionately known as Tony.

Comora graduated from Pemberton High School before her family moved to Trenton, N.J. in the
fifties. She received her secretarial training at the Skill Center in Trenton before she was
employed by the N.J. Department of Transportation from which she retired.

Comora, a member of Union Baptist Church in Trenton, her Pastor is Rev. Simeon Spencer, who
officiated her Home Going Service.

Comora was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Margo Tibbs, Joyce Cooper
(Winston) and Alberta Tibbs.

Left to cherish and eternally love her is her husband Fred Powell and three brothers: Rev. AJ.
Tibbs Jr. (Tanya), Milton Tibbs (Judy), and Wonzo Tibbs (Pam); and Comora has her cousins,
nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Comora and Tony took care of from the cradle to nursery school; her great nephew Antony Tibbs
and her great niece Taylor Tibbs, who she calls Little Bit.

Our big SIster has gone to heaven. Thank GOD for the time we spent together on this earth, and
thank GOD for the hope of the Resurrection and our reunion in Paradise.

In The Hands of God, Even Death is a Time for Rejoicing
and so when death brings weeping and the heart is filled with sorrow,
it beckons us to seek God's face and ask about "tomorrow."
And in these hours of heart-hurt we draw closer to believing,
that even death in God's hands is not a cause far grieving,
but a time for knowing death is just a stepping-stone
