Marquis C. Carr, Jr. was born on February 15, 2000, to Natasha Williams and Marquise Carr, Sr. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was educated in Trenton Public School System and Bridgeton School System, where he graduated from Bridgeton High School.
Marquis was a hard worker. He started working at the age of 16 as a farmer. He later went to work for Tyson Chicken, then Central Waste & Recycling, and for the last two years he was a Truck Driver for Werner Distribution Center.
Marquis loved his skateboards, bikes, motorcycles, his trucks, and most importantly his daughter and his family. He inspired everyone around him and some.
At the age of 22, Marquis departed this life after a tragic accident. His life will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Marquis was predeceased by his great grandmothers, Loretta Washington and Ruth Carr; his great grandfathers, Andrew Muse, Iris Carr, and Daniel Carr; his grandmother, Emma Williams; and two aunts, Porscha Williams and Tahish Carr.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories his mother, Natasha Williams; his father, Marquise Carr, Sr.; his precious baby girl, Leilani Carr; his girlfriend, Abigail Palma; his sisters, Naisha Carr, Tahisha Carr, and Frazilia Isme; his brothers, Gavin, Jahsyn and Jasir Carr; his grandparents, Kim and Michael George, Curtis and Joyce Carr, and Irving Muse, Sr.; his great grandmother, Blanche Williams; his aunts, Nikki Williams and Taheerah Carr; his uncles: Kyle Scott, Michael Walker, Michael George, Jr., Emmanuel Williams, Michael Williams, and Irving Muse, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Samaritan Baptist Church, 531 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hours will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
