Mary Clark Jackson Obituary

Mary Catherine Clark was born on May 2, 1950, in Dillion South Carolina. Mary was the oldest of 5 children born to Fronie Clark and James C. Clark. Mary and her family moved to Trenton NJ , and she later married Todd Jackson Jr.. Through their union they had 5 children : Todd, Michael, Athony, Charlene, and Collen.

Mary retired as a healthcare provider from Carrier Foundation in Stillman NJ. After retirement, she continued providing care to the elders in the fam ily. Mary was a faithful and dedicated servant of God. No matter what church Mary attended she was well respected and carried out her ministry of caring for the homeless and those less fortunate. It was not unusual to find her serving in soup kitchens or handing out care packages and clothing. During her last years, Mary served as Mother at First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Philadelphia PA.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; James C Clark, Fronie Mitchell ; her stepfather Thurston Mitchell, her husband Todd Jackson Jr.; and her brother Larry Clark .

She leaves to cherish her memory ; her son s Todd Jackson Jr. (Belinda), Michael D. Jackson, Anthony D, Jackson; her daughters; Charlene Jackson, and Collen Jackson. Her sister Hattie Mae Clark; her brothers James Clark, and John Clark (Patricia) . Her grandchildren Nakia Williams , Jasmine Jackson, Deshawn Jackson, Danielle Jackson, Chante Jackson, Todd Jackson III, Nia Jackson, and Michael Edwards . Her great -grandson Jayden Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Ministerios Fraternidad Cristiana, 715 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
