Mary Lois Kelly-Nelson, 83, departed this life October 3, 2020, at home in Georgia. Born October 6, 1937, in Albany, GA, to the late Hattie L. Peterson (Stills) and Thomas J. Nelson. Mary was educated in the Miami Florida school system. She was a Metropolitan Baptist Church member, Albany, GA, and Galilee Baptist Church, Trenton, NJ. Mary worked at Albany Linen. Service Albany, GA, Skillman, Trenton Magic Marker, and Princeton University, where she retired. Her parents of Albany, GA, predeceased her; grandparents Annie Mae and Johnny Peterson; spouse John H. Kelly; brothers Henry L. Stills, Jessie Stills, Tommy Lee Stills; sisters Martha M. Stills, Gracie Bradford-Still; aunts Rosie Wright, Josie Mae Giddens, RC Thomas of Georgia; granddaughter Kelly A. Nelson. Mary leaves behind 8 children, Julius Nelson (Brenda), Josephine Warren-Williams of Albany, GA, Angela Nelson, Tony Nelson, Phyllis Nelson, Geraldine Nelson, Cynthia D. Nelson of Washington DC, Contina D. Harris of Oklahoma; sisters Rosetta Stills-Knox of Kansas City; Martha Stills, Jeannette Stills; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-great grands, sister-in-laws Leona Burgess, Mattie Stills. Special family James and Eddie Robinson, special friends Elizabeth Baker-Horn and Patricia Weeks, and a host of relatives/friends. A walk-through viewing will be held Thursday, Oct 15, 2020, 10 -11 am, (IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY 11 am-12 pm) at Galilee Baptist Church, 440 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Trenton, NJ, arrangement by Hughes Funeral Home.
