Mary Lee Taylor, 84, affectionately known as “Che Chee” was born on January 7, 1941, in Princeton, NJ. She peacefully departed this life at home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was a lifelong New Jersey resident until moving to Georgia 6 years ago. She was educated in the Hamilton Township School District and graduated from Hamilton High School West. She was employed by and retired from Thomas Edison State College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the casino. She was an amazing cook and passed her skills and love for cooking down to her family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Robert “Big Bob” Taylor. Sons: Stanton (Pooch) Taylor and Evan Taylor. Great Granddaughter: Janae Boisseau. Parents: Ada and Thomas Williams Sr. & Mary Lee and Joseph Winrow Sr. Brothers: James “Bucky” Williams, Thomas “Jibby” Williams Jr., Herman “Leroy” Williams, Oddis “Odie” Williams. Sisters: Cora “Sissy” Williams, Jean Margret “Jeanie” Williams, and Evelyn Winrow.
She is survived by her daughters and Sons In law: Deborah and Larry Washington & Shannon and Odalis Hernandez. Grand children: Jarad Boisseau (Taura), Devin Jackson, Kirsten Tift, Greona Boisseau, Isiah Barnes, Elijah Barnes, Kaitlyn Tift, and Kallen Cain. Great Grand Children: Kayla Jackson, Kani Henderson, Kalil Henderson, Kendall Davis, Kayden Barnes, and Kaycen Ware. Great Great Grand Daughter: Kaylee Jackson. Brothers: Walter “Walt” Williams, Phillip “Butchie” Williams, Joel “Wayne” Winrow Sr. and Joseph Winrow Jr. Sisters: Katherine “Kaitie” Kornegay, Delores “Dee Dee” Howard, and Patricia “Patty” Stephens (Walter). Sisters in Law: Lois Hart, Gwen Williams, and Karen Craddock. Special niece and nephews: Loren Sheppard (Derrick), Michael “Chick” Williams, Donald “Barry” Kinslow Sr., and Joel “Wayne” Winrow Jr. Bonus Grand Children: Ray Green and Kenesia Crowley. Her Caregiver: Francis “Renee” Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Trenton Deliverance Center Church, 1100 S Clinton Ave, Trenton, NJ 08611 Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
