In Loving Memory of Maryse Marcelin Sunrise: November 18, 1942- Sunset: July 29, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and at the age of 82. matriarch, Maryse Marcelin who entered eternal rest on July 29, 2025, born on November 18, 1942, in Jacmel, Haiti, Maryse was a radiant soul known for her strength, elegance, and grace. At the age of 7, she moved to Port-au-Prince, where she would eventually meet and marry the love of her life, the late Hector Aarons, Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising four sons: Charles Marcelin, Edward Marcelin deceased), Hector Marcelin, and Rodney Marcelin (deceased).
Maryse was a savvy businesswoman whose intelligence and determination earned her the admiration of all who knew her. Outside of her work, she embraced life fully. She loved sewing. cooking and always made sure she looked her best, carrying herself with timeless style and grace.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her proudest legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Kyria, Kéren, Kevin, and Nicholas Marcelin.
She is also survived by: Her son Charles Marcelin's wife, Alta Joachim, and her children, Youri and Atalia Joachim
Her son Hector Marcelin's wife, Edwidge Marcelin.
Cherished family friends Sandy Glezil, Gerda Joachim, and Kenny Luce Elvariste, whose love and loyalty brought joy and comfort to her later years.
In 2012, Maryse immigrated to the United States, where she spent her final years surrounded by family, love, and peace. Her unwavering faith, nurturing spirit, and remarkable presence will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered, may her soul rest in eternal peace.
Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, August 8, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
