Michael Johnson

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Michael accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Friday, April 4 2025 at Carnegie Assisted Living in Princeton, New Jersey. AS a result, our hearts are less bright, but We know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.

Michael Johnson was born on November 1, 1954 in Trenton, New Jersey to Geraldine George and Isaach Johnson.

He was a graduate of Hamilton High West. Michael continued his education while attending Pennco Tech where he also graduated He was employed by United States Steel Mil, Princeton University and Capital Health Systems.

In his leisure time, Michael played his bass guitar for Instant Funk. He loved listening to music, attending barbecues and spending quality time with his family.

He was predeceased by his mother Geraldine George; his father Isaach Johnson; his stepfather Edward George.

Michael's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his daughter Faleisha Days; his granddaughter Isis Clemens; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Michael will forever be, "Kool and the Gang!" 

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
