Michael Jones

Michael Damien Jones, affectionately known as "Mike Mike," departed this life on December 28, 2024, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Born on December 7, 1980, in Trenton, NJ, to Wanda Leach and Cedric Lee Green. At the age of one, Michael was adopted by Lorine D. Davis and Charles L. Jones.

Mike Mike was educated in the Trenton Public School System. He was a man of many talents, cooking being his favorite. He, alongside his wife, started a catering business called "Hell’s Food Kitchen." He touched a multitude of people with his warm, loving, and generous personality. He was a compassionate, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend that will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cedric Lee Green, Lorine Davis, and Charles Jones; his paternal grandparents, Joyce Marie and Willie Green, and Luther Page; two aunts, Tia and Loretta Green; an uncle, Willie Green; a brother, Eddy Bell; and a sister, Lakisha Clark.

Mike Mike leaves behind to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Ty'Quasia Truesdell-Jones; one son, Cyncere Jones; a daughter, Lyric Funderburg; eleven sisters, Kahlajah Parker, Domonique Clark, Asia Griffin, Rachel and Alicia Woodall, Rodesha, Jenell, Alexis Bell, Ashley Logan Green, Andrea Copeland, and Tiffany Wilcox; seven brothers, James and Cedric Clark, Cochonne Brown, Howard Knock, Anthony Jones, and Ismail Leach; three grandchildren, Kori, Alaya, and Aniya Jones; three aunts, Kyra Green, Latoya Green, and Tiffany Hollingshed (Duane); six uncles, Kenneth Galvin (Shaye), Patrick Page (Stacy), Alexander Green (Julie), John Green, Kevin, and Paul Jiles; five sisters-in-law, Alyssa, Teaihjuniquea, and Tyraleisha Williams, Ty’Quansa, and Briana Truesdell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will 11am Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
